On Monday, November 18th, the Friend 2 Friend Program visited Tait Elementary and spoke with divisions 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. The Autism Demystification Puppet Program is an evidence-based, educational SEL program that works to support children’s understanding of neurodiversity and to enhance social responsibility and inclusion as well as teach prosocial communication skills. Students enjoyed hearing the important message, seeing the performance by the puppeteers and getting to role-play interpersonal situations using the puppets.
