At the end of our first year of our literacy-focused school goal, we added several recommended resources to our school's professional library including:

• The Reading Strategies Book 2.0 by Jennifer Serravallo
• The Writing Strategies Book by Jennifer Serravallo
• The Power of Making Thinking Visible by Ron Ritchhart and Mark Church
• No More Teaching a Letter a Week by Rebeca McKay and William H. Teale
• No More Phonics and Spelling Worksheets by Jennifer L. Palmer and Marcia Invernizzi

Teachers are especially excited about the first two books by Jennifer Serravallo so we purchased enough copies for grade groups to share.  We will use these resources to engage in school-wide and grade-group lesson planning, collaborating and post-lesson sharing.
