2025-2026 - Literacy Focus Year 1

After working together for five years as a staff and community on improving our students' Numeracy Skills, we will now turn our focus to Literacy. At our first Pro-D Day on September 22nd, our staff worked with our District Teacher Consultant, Lisa Jeronimo, to begin learning about the initial stages of this new focus and in particular on learning more about the variety of reading assessments available to use with our students this fall as a starting point. This will help us narrow our focus under the umbrella of Literacy.  Please stay tuned for more information about the areas we will focus on and activities and learning experiences which will help us work to improve our students' literacy.
